Gringa Dinga — Pet Projects

"I care not for a man's religion whose dog and cat are not the better for it." — Abraham Lincoln

Unfortunately, not all humans are animal lovers. The most innocent of all life on earth — children and animals — are abused and abandoned daily by the adults they trust. Our future "pet projects" will strive to bring awareness to these problems.

Below you'll find links to a few organizations we believe in. Please read about the groups below and consider what you can do now. Updated information on what GringaDinga.com is doing concerning these issues will be posted on this page. Thank you for your support.

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
From the Toys for Tots website: The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute these toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the U.S. These toys give a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive and patriotic citizens. Read about Gringa Dinga's 2011 Toys for Tots project in her blog.

ASPCA — American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
Did you know the ASPCA was created in New York City by founder Henry Bergh in 1866. It is the first and oldest animal welfare organization in the U.S. As early as April, 1866, the first anti-cruelty law was passed, granting the organization the right to enforce anti-cruelty laws.
